A Year at Hallmark
Every week brings something new in Hallmark's intensive 10-month program. Retrace the journey of our most recent graduates, the Class of 2008, from orientation to graduation. As you step through this timeline, realize that a given week in 2009 or 2010 will likely be diffferent from the "same" week in 2007 or 2008 — unlike multi-year programs, Hallmark is unfettered in its ability to rapidly adapt to industry changes. We take advantage of that freedom to give every class the most current and relevant instruction possible. (You can follow the Class of 2009 on our Week by Week page.)
Does It Get Any Better Than This on Day 1 of Photography School? — On Monday, September 10th, Hallmark's Class of 2008 officially began their 10-month educational journey into professional photography. One of the first orders of business is for students to receive instruction on their brand new medium-format camera systems. This versatile film and digital system is a staple for professional photographers and for today's photography student who wants to pursue their education at the highest level possible. After spending Day 1 in the classroom getting to know their gear and learning some of the basic concepts, students test out their knowledge this week on a field trip to nearby Historic Old Deerfield.
