 | | John Nordell, B.A. Instructor
Within years of graduating from Stanford University in 1983, John began circling the globe, covering stories ranging from political and social change in South Korea to the underground arts scene in the Soviet Union. His photojournalistic images have been published in Time, Newsweek and The New York Times Magazine, as well as in publications around the world. As a corporate shooter, he has photographed annual reports and brochures for biotech companies and banks. As a fine art photographer, he delights in capturing the subtleties of the natural world, as well as finding abstract beauty in everyday objects. John has taught English in Japan, presented seminars on photojournalism, and mentored a series of interns at The Christian Science Monitor, where he recently finished an eight-year stint as a photographer, writer, photo editor and blog author. John is always eager to share his wide-ranging photographic experience. |
